Kits and face wash

Hello lovelies! Over the next few weeks we are going to be doing skin care! I split it up so it’s not just one long drawn out post that you’ll probably stop reading 🙂

I have pretty normal skin. In the winter it’s a bit dryer and in the summer it’s a bit more oily. I can pretty much use any product and it doesn’t bother my skin, so I definitely don’t have sensitive skin.

First are the kits I bought!

kits

E.L.F Jet Set Hydration Kit – travel size

In this kit is: Only 15$ too!!

The daily hydration moisturizer

The daily face cleanser

The nourishing night cream

The illuminating eye cream

And the prep and hydrate balm

I’m going to be talking about these products later in this post and in the upcoming posts so stay tuned 🙂

MILK MAKEUP DELUXE INTRO SET – sample size

In this kit is: Only 9$ too!!

Deluxe vegan milk moisturizer sample (I got extra because of a promo!!)

Deluxe hydro grip primer sample: I don’t personally use primer so I had my amazing friend Kay try it! “It works nice, it makes the foundation apply on really well.” In the description they mention that it grips make up and she said it was definitely true and she saw less lines and crevices showing!

Deluxe Kush mascara sample: I’ve been looking for a vegan mascara and this is definitely a good one. It’s not the typical brush shape I use from mascaras but it definitely made my lashes longer and I have non- existent bottom lashes and it made them look better too! I do have decently long regular lashes so take that into consideration

Deluxe lip + cheek in werk sample: So this one was tricky. I use it for blush since I don’t really wear lipstick. I actually hated it at first because I couldn’t figure out how to use it, so it definitely takes some time to figure out, but now I use it every day. Once you figure it out, it works really well and its build able which I love.

I will be talking about the moisturizer in a later post! Both of these kits are amazing deals if you want to try some vegan products. Definitely recommend for both

Face wash

GLOSSIER MILK JELLY CLEANSER

This cleanser costs 18$ for the full size. I’m going to start by saying the smell is blah. I can’t tell if its unscented or has a slight flower smell to it but I hate both (I hate anything unscented).

Getting past that, I loveeee the texture. It feels like silk on my skin, which is so nice and it’s pretty thick which I also like. It does not foam up though which is something I am usually used to.

E.L.F Daily Face Cleanser

This size is the one out of the kit, but the full size costs only 4$, which is great!

This is a foaming face wash that smells amazing and makes me skin feel really refreshed. It’s a great face wash, there’s not much else to say! I like this one so much that I did buy the full size to use.

Ultimately you know your own skin, so never try anything just because I tell you!

The best color right now

This week is all about LIGHT BLUE. I am loving this color right now especially for spring. It looks so cute with so many outfits! Below are some accessories I’ve found to make some cute light blue outfits, perfect for the upcoming season 💕

1. Mesa Shoes Octavia in light blue

They are made out of micro suede, which isn’t real suede but still feels nice! And it’s very sustainable. They have a 2 inch heel made out of reclaimed wood and they come in a few more colors!

2. ASOS Slim belt in light blue

It’s a super cute, thin belt, made of PU and polyester. The belt is for men and women, which is great!

3. A New Day Mini BackPack in Blue

Target is definitely stepping up their game. They have tons of new and cute handbags right now, including this little beauty! It is a mini backpack that can also be a crossbody!Made out of PU

4. Lululemon Align Pant 25″ in Chambray

I included these because they ARE made out of vegan materials, even if the store isn’t a vegan store. I have them and they’re so comfy. They are made out of nylon and lyrca

5. Matt and Nat LAF Long Wallet

This wallet has 10 credit card slots and 1 place to hold bills. Definitely big enough to hold all your cards! The inside is recycled nylon.

Where to buy!

This week I wanted to talk about some stores online I’ve found and what they’re good for. Bags, shoes, accessories etc. Men’s and women’s!

BAGS

1. Matt and Nat will always be the first I mention. They have so many different styles of bags and wallets. They do use polyurethane but they use recycled bottles to make the liners of their bags which is amazing! They have men’s and women’s

2. Alexandra K is another brand I really like. They use freedom leather, Apple leather and other plant based leathers in their bags. They also have really modern designs and are definitely luxurious! I have one of their bags made out of freedom leather and it is sooo soft you would never know it’s vegan!

3. Angela Roi has luxury vegan bags. They only use animal free materials and have high factory standards. They only have a few styles but they’re really popular and they have different straps you can purchase

4. Femni London uses PU. Their bags are elegant and have beautiful hardware on them. Definitely on the luxurious side but are still affordable!

5. LuLu’s has a vegan bag section and some of them are super cute! There’s a lot there so you can definitely find something you like and it is affordable!

6. Meliebianco has some cute and fun shapes with simple colors. They also have high factory standards and of course don’t use animal products

7. LaBante London has some nice handbags as well. They use tons of recycled materials and seem to be a really sustainable brand.

SHOES

1. Matt and Nat has men’s and women’s shoes. They are definitely keeping up with trends and have affordable prices. For men they have sneakers, boots, dress shoes and even a slip on style! For women they have just about everything. Even a waterproof section

2. Beflamboyant is a sneaker brand I found. They have very simple tennis shoes with a splash of color that makes them super cute!

3. Humans are Vain have men and women’s options. They also have simple sneakers but a few chunky options if you’re on that hype right now!

4. Mesa shoes is a female shoe brand. They only have a few styles of sandals but they are cute and colorful!

5 Good Guys Don’t Wear Leather has just about everything as well. When you select a shoe it will tell you if the sizing is in men’s or women’s. All vegan materials and they have a how to clean section which is useful for anything made out of vegan materials

These are just some of my favorite ones for this week! A lot of companies have vegan options so if you really like a brand it’s best to look and definitely check the materials.
